Television Presenter
A unique style of comedy and humour has made Nick Hancock into an award-winning star who appeals to audiences in television, radio and theatre. His universal appeal makes him an ideal Ambassador for Millennium Volunteers.
His TV credits include such top rating shows as They Think It's All Over, Room 101, Fantasy Football for the BBC, Holding the Baby for Granada; The Outsiders for Channel 4; and Swot or Wot for Anglia. Radio has included The Danny Baker Show, The Mary Whitehouse Experience and on stage he appeared in An Evening with Gary Lineker.
In 1992 he was recognised for his achievements when he won the highly coveted Radio Times Comedy and Drama Award. He has volunteered his time for Comic Relief in 1996 and 1998.
Nick attended the national launch of Millennium Volunteers at London's Tate Modern where he met hundreds of MVs from around the country. Nick believes MV is a fantastic initiative and commends any young person who has given up their time to help others in their community. |
