In detail
Between 1996 and 2000 he was President and CEO of Micrografx, a U.S. publicly quoted Software Company which he sold to Corel Corporation in 2000. Prior to that he also founded and subsequently sold two other companies: Visual Software and ITAL Computers. What he offers you
With an infectious enthusiasm for new ideas, Doug offers audiences the benefits of his own radical views and insights which have enabled him to successfully develop a clutch of technology ventures both here and across the pond.
How he presents
Doug Richard is as fiercely alert, bright and blunt in the flesh as he was on the BBC's successful Dragons' Den business series. However, perhaps what the series didn't convey is the fact that off-camera he's a far more jovial character, with a dry wit and a passion for business and innovation that is almost childlike in its intensity.
Languages
He presents in English.
