Bruce Forsyth is one of the U.K.'s durable stars and has been in show business for more than sixty years. It is a career that began very young when, in the middle of World War Two, he left school and aged 14 began performing professionally. Sixteen years later in 1958, he became an overnight star when he was chosen to host Sunday Night at the London Palladium and he has remained one of the most influential and popular performers on British television ever since.
