Frank Dick OBE is the President of the European Athletics Coaches Association, and Chairman of the International Association of Athletics Federations Academy. He is also the creator of the academy, which is a global academy committed to the advancement and development of the highest level of coaches and of their profession. More recently, Frank has been involved with the development and recent launch of Loughborough University's Institute of Excellence, a joint venture between the world class sporting expertise of the university and its business school, Frank's involvement as Chair of the Institute's Concept Board means even more commitment to bringing these two world together.

Frank, a former international athlete, held the post of Chairman of the British Olympic Coaches Advisory Programme from 1983 to 1994. He has also been Director of Coaching for the British Athletics Federation from 1974 to 1994. He served as Chief Coach to the British team at four Olympic Games, seven European Cups, three European Championships and three World Championships and has helped develop Daley Thompson, Boris Becker, Gerhard Berger, Denise Lewis, Marat Safin and Katarina Witt among other top athletes.
