Ian Scott is an internationally recognized expert on economic and business development. Since his retirement from the World Bank in the 1990s, Ian has advised CEOs of public and private sector companies on strategic issues. Ian is currently an Associate Fellow of Templeton College, Oxford. He was the first Executive Director of the Emerging Markets Forum which unites corporate leaders, heads of government to seek practical solutions to capital market issues.

Ian travelled and has worked in every country in Latin America. In the 1960's he was based in Columbia, serving with the United Nations for 6 years and then during 1970 he was the Resident Director of the World Bank's Colombia office.
