Jinyoung Lee Englund is Director of Public Affairs at the Bitcoin Foundation. Being the youngest member on the Senior Management team, she serves as spokeswoman and leads the global strategic communications, education and marketing efforts for the foundation. She also served on the Romney-Ryan Presidential Transition Team during the 2012 Presidential election.

Jinyoung received her BA in Comparative History of Ideas from the University of Washington and is a recipient of the U.S. Department of State's Benjamin A. Gilman International Scholarship. Before joining the Bitcoin Foundation, Jinyoung served at a tech start-up, public policy and politics, directing day-to-day operations. Before entering public service she served with an international development non-profit organisation that builds schools, provides medical services and jobs training in Mozambique.
