Professor Margarita Mathiopoulos is Partner and Managing Director of the European Advisory Group (EAG), a European-based global political task force which brings together partners with unique experience and expertise with direct access to top political and industrial leaders around the world. She is also Professor of US Foreign Policy and International Security at the Technical University of Braunschweig, Germany.

Professor Mathiopoulos expertise on US Foreign Policy and European Defence is invaluable for governments and public sector industries. Political and marketing strategists are able to benefit from her wealth of experience in the field of international security.

In January 2000 Professor Mathiopoulos was appointed by the Greek Ministry of Defence to act as head of an international commission reviewing the Greek Strategic Defence Requirements from 2000 to 2015. She was also Senior Advisor for the European and North American Markets to the CEO of BAE Systems Plc for portfolio, strategic market-planning, new business and political-industrial co-operation.

During her highly successful career Margarita Mathiopoulos has written several books dealing with political philosophies, ideologies, political history and current affairs. As well as articles on Berlin, Germany, Greece, Europe, European-American and European-Russian affairs which have been published in highly acclaimed international journals such as the International Herald Tribune, Die Zeit, The European Journal of International Affairs and the Harvard International Review.
