Having dual US and Hungarian citizenship he has attained a bachelor's degree in psychology from Amherst College and an MBA from INSEAD in France, Burt has broad business development and strategy-formation expertise in working with a wide range of companies throughout the US, the EU and Eastern Europe.

A founding member of the first Mergers and Acquisitions group in Eastern Europe with Citibank; he is also leading initiatives in Central and Eastern Europe that champion innovation within organisations.
