Jim Bowen is best known for his Bullseye TV game show, which for fifteen years was avidly watched by over twelve million viewers. Since Bullseye he has made numerous guest appearances on all channels from BBC 2's Weakest Link which he appeared 3 times (twice a winner!) to ITV's Richard & Judy and the delightful morning show with Phil & Fern.

Jim, who honed his act in pubs and clubs in northern England during the 1960s and 1970s, rose to fame on ITV talent showcase The Comedians. It was in 1981 he landed his best-known role, as the presenter of ITV's darts-themed quiz Bullseye, his "super, smashing, great" and "now look what you could have won..." catchphrases helped turn him into a cult figure. In 2005, 2007 & 2008 Jim appeared at The Edinburgh Festival enjoying success in all three seasons. Jim has also appeared in Jonathan Creek, The Grimleys and as Hoss Cartwright in the second hilarious series of Phoenix Nights starring Peter Kay.
