Nicola Horlick is the founder and CEO of Bramdean Asset Management LLP, an entrepreneurial investment boutique established in 2005. Nicola has worked in the fund management industry for over twenty-five years and has participated in the growth of some of the UK's premier asset management businesses.

In 1983, she joined S.G. Warburg as a graduate trainee and went on to help create Mercury Asset Management, where she was appointed a director at only 28 years old. In 1991, Nicola moved to Morgan Grenfell Asset Management where she was appointed Managing Director of the UK business in 1992. Over the following five years, funds under management increased from £4 billion to £22 billion. In 1997, Nicola left Morgan Grenfell and set up SG Asset Management for the French bank, Societe Generale. Nicola left SG in 2003 to join AMP in Sydney to run its fund management business but due to family circumstances, she was not able to take up this post and went on to create Bramdean Asset Management.
