David Davies OBE has been actively involved in association football for more than 35 years, first as a BBC Television Correspondent and Presenter and then as a senior administrator and more recently Executive Director at the Football Association. He retired from the F.A. in October 2006 and is currently an advisor to a wide range of companies which share his vision of what football and sport can achieve in the future. He currently broadcasts regularly on BBC News 24, Radio 5 and Sky News.

Over 22 years, including periods as a Political Correspondent and Education Correspondent, he reported on numerous General Elections and World Cups.
