Amin Rajan is the CEO of CREATE, which is a pan-European network of researchers undertaking special research and consultancy assignments for European governments, multinational companies, major global financial institutions and international bodies such as the EU, OECD and ILO. He is also visiting professor at the University Business School and London Guildhall University.
Having done extensive research involving a number of today's outstanding business leaders Amin uses his experience to coach decision makers and offer essential advise on leadership and emerging business strategies.
Amin was formerly an economic advisor at the National Economic Development Office, Cabinet Office and HM Treasury. He has also carried out numerous studies for the UK Government and international bodies, and acted as a consultant to companies such as BP, British Telecom, IBM, ICL, Legal & General, Motorola, Merrill Lynch, National Westminster Bank, Fiat, Rolls Royce, SunAlliance and Shell.
As well as appearing on radio and television, he contributes feature articles to The Financial Times, The Guardian and The Sunday Times. He has published many books and articles on socio-economic forecasting, global developments, employment trends, new technologies, training and most recently global investment management in the 2000's.
Amin has presented the results of his work at over 100 major events in the USA, UK and continental Europe in the last five years. In 1998, he was awarded the Aspen Institute's Scholarship in Leadership. He currently holds board level positions in many organisations in both the private and public sector.
