Jonathan Ross is a familiar face on British Television. He has presented numerous television and radio shows and is a founding member and director of his own production company Channel X.

Jonathan was born in Camden, North London on 17th November 1960. One of six children he spent most of his formative years growing up in Leytonstone in London's East End, where he attended a variety of different schools until, with both 'O' and 'A' levels under his belt, Jonathan was accepted into the school of Slavonic and Eastern European Studies in London.
Having graduated with an Honours degree in Modern European History in 1981, Jonathan's first job in television was at RPM Productions as a researcher on the ill-fated Channel 4 chat show Loose Talk. Various other documentaries and shows followed before Jonathan began working on Soul Train. It was whilst working in this show that he met another young and keen researcher, Alan Marke. They struck up a creative partnership and together came up with the working idea for what would later be called The Last Resort.
Confident they hit upon a winning formula, Jonathan and Alan decided to set up their production company to make The Last Resort and in 1987, Channel X was born. Finding themselves short of a satisfactory host, Jonathan stepped in, literally as 'the last resort', and made his television presenting debut in January 1987. The show was a hit and broke the mould of the traditional TV chat in this country. As a result, Channel 4 commissioned a total of four series.
Jonathan has hosted a number of top television shows in recent years including Friday Night with Jonathan Ross, Film 2002, and The British Comedy Awards 2002. He has been awarded a Television and Radio Industry Club Award for his outstanding show on BBC Radio 2 and in 2002 he was nominated for the Top Television Personality Award.
A highly charismatic and affable personality, Jonathan is now highly sought-after as a speaker and host at leading events around the globe.
