Tony Hawks is a very familiar face from television having appeared frequently on TV comedy programmes such as Have I Got News For You, They Think It's All Over, Paul Merton, A Bit of Fry and Laurie and Red Dwarf. He also hosted the BBC1 programme, The Best Show in the World Ever ... Probably. In the London theatre, he appeared in Lennon, Pump Boys and Dinettes and An Evening with Gary Lineker.

Tony began as a singer, performing his own songs and peaked in the charts at number three as Morris Minor and the Majors with their spoof rap recording of Stutter Rap. He wrote many songs and musical comedies and performing at The Edinburgh Festival won The Perrier Pick of The Festival Award. He has appeared in many radio shows including I'm sorry I haven't a Clue, Just a Minute, The News Quiz, Weekending and Loose Ends.
