About Klaus Schweinsberg

Klaus Schweinsberg is the founder of the Center for Strategy and Higher Leadership. Klaus studied Political Economics in Switzerland, Italy and Scotland and obtained his doctorate and PhD in Economic Policy at the University of Fribourg. For ten years he held various managerial positions with Bertelsmann AG, including Business Editor of The Financial Times Deutschland, he was editor in chief and Publisher of CAPITAL and IMPULSE.

As a personal consultant and coach, he has worked for renowned entrepreneurs and top managers abroad. He teaches at various universities and is a lecturer in the General Staff training of the German armed forces. In 2009 he was appointed to the district, the Young Global Leaders of the World Economic Forum (WEF), Davos.

The eloquent orator is a frequent guest on TV and sought after commentator in leading media in Germany, Austria and Switzerland. He is the author or editor of several books on the topic of ‘business ethics’, ‘Corporate Governance’ and ‘systemic change’. His book “Attentive Leadership: Success in Times of Uncertainty” was released in April 2014.

Frequently published in the press, he is also a respected adviser to senior managers in leading corporations. He is a member of the American Economic Association and the Royal Over-Seas League as well as several supervisory boards and advisory committees.
