Maria has spent most of her career working as a reporter and anchor in the Middle East and Europe. During her seven years in the Middle East, Maria worked as a newsreader in Bahrain and also reported from Syria, Jordan, Turkey and the UAE. In London, she hosted Bloomberg TV’s breakfast world news and covered the 2008 financial crisis from London and Spain. She is passionate about human rights, having dedicated much of her reporting career to shedding light on the refugee crisis. Maria ran her own international media consultancy and has worked closely with the CEO of Formula E taking the company from startup to a fully-fledged global series in just three years. She has been pivotal in successfully establishing the global brand and media relationships worldwide.
