Roy Walker came to fame through top ITV game show Catchphrase. Following this he then won a whole new fan base through his regular Carpark Catchphrase feature on Chris Moyles' radio show as well as appearing on Peter Kay's Phoenix Nights. He now tours the world, performing stand-up to packed venues around the globe.

Roy broke through to success and national prominence when he recorded the highest marks ever given to a comedian on television's New Faces. It was the start of a television career that has blossomed ever since and has seen him starring on all the major TV variety shows. It was at the beginning of 1987 that he hosted his first series of Catchphrase which went on to become a very popular and high-rating addition to the ITV Network scheduling each year. More recently it has also been screened on Challenge TV.

Roy Walker was great. He is a really lovely man who engaged well with the audience. He was also happy to help where possible. He was very funny and kept everyone entertained.
