He is economic strategist at the challenger wealth manager Netwealth; a Board member of Bank of China (UK); and sits on a number of Advisory Boards, including the Grantham Research Institute on Climate Change and the Environment. Gerard has worked on a project on AI, Technology and the Future of Work for the CSJ think tank. He was Chief Economic Advisor to the Mayor of London and has 25 years’ experience in senior roles in The City at Chase, Swiss Bank, DKB International and Standard Chartered, where he ran a global team of 184 people. Gerard has testified to committees of the US Senate and Congress and of both Houses of the UK Parliament, and has spoken in the Great Hall of the People, Beijing and at Davos.
