Jim currently serves as Chairman of the Supervisory Board of Siemens AG and Chairman of Northvolt, a Swedish battery developer and manufacturer focused on enabling a sustainable energy future. He is also a member of the Board of Trustees at the World Economic Forum, where he co-chairs the Centre for the Fourth Industrial Revolution and Board member of C3 AI, a leading Enterprise AI Software Production. Previously, Jim was Co-CEO of SAP, the world’s leading enterprise software company, where he played a pivotal role in transforming the company into a leader in cloud computing and innovation. He is Co-author of “Dreams and Details” – a book about leadership in times of change and Co-author of “Tech for Life” – a book about putting trust back in technology as a force for good.
