Prof. Martin Richenhagen served as the Chairman, President and Chief Executive Officer of AGCO Corporation, a global manufacturer and distributor of agricultural equipment, from 2004 until his retirement in 2020. Prof. Richenhagen was the Chairman of the German American Chambers of Commerce of the United States, and he was a member of the U.S. Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors.

Martin Richenhagen is the Chairman of the Board of AXIOS Sustainable Growth Acquisition Corporation. He also serves as a member of the Supervisory Board of Daimler Truck Holding AG. Martin Richenhagen is also a director of PPG Industries, where he serves on the Human Capital Management and Compensation Committee as well as on the Sustainability and Innovation Committee. He is a member of the Advisory Board of Stihl Holding AG and Co.KG. He also served as a director of Praxair, Inc. from 2015 until 2018. He also served as Chairman of the Board of the Association of Equipment Manufacturers (AEM) and is a Life Honorary Director of AEM.
