Until 2023, he served as President of The Future Society, where he built one of the world’s most influential AI governance think tanks and co-convened the Athens Roundtable on AI and the Rule of Law. He has advised a wide range of governments including the U.S., France, India, Germany, Morocco, Ghana, and Japan, as well as organisations such as UNESCO, OECD, World Bank, European Commission, Council of Europe, and UN agencies. He also collaborates with philanthropies like the Patrick J. McGovern Foundation and WINGS, and corporations including Stellantis, Safran, and IKEA.
