Simon Reeve Keynote Speaker, Virtual Event Speaker

Behind Simon Reeve’s remarkable adventures is an equally compelling story of personal transformation. After leaving school with few qualifications, he experienced unemployment and severe depression before gradually rebuilding his life through opportunity, determination and a growing passion for exploration. Starting as a newspaper post-boy, he worked his way into journalism and became the youngest staff writer in the history of The Sunday Times.

His early investigative career involved reporting on organised crime, international terrorism and nuclear smuggling, sometimes working undercover, before he moved into television and established himself as one of Britain’s most respected documentary presenters. Across more than 130 countries, Simon has encountered extraordinary people, cultures and environments, bringing audiences closer to the realities of life around the globe. His two bestselling autobiographies, Step by Step and Journeys to Impossible Places, reveal the experiences and challenges behind his journey.

An accomplished live performer, Simon has also enjoyed enormous success on stage, with two nationwide theatre tours, including To the Ends of the Earth, which played to sold-out audiences at more than 120 venues across the UK before concluding in 2026. As an inspirational Speaker, Simon draws on his adventures and personal experiences to explore resilience, courage, adaptability, curiosity and the importance of human connection.
