In 1999, Jock became a cornerstone of the newly formed British American Racing (BAR) team. This period culminated in the 2009 World Championship-winning season when the team, now known as Brawn GP, dominated the championship. Following Brawn GP’s transition into the Mercedes AMG Formula One Team, Jock remained with the team, working with Michael Schumacher during the 2011 and 2012 seasons. He later played a key role alongside Lewis Hamilton during Mercedes’ dominant championship years of 2014 and 2015, contributing to one of the most successful eras in Formula One history. In 2016, he moved to Scuderia Ferrari as Head of Racing, before shifting his focus to the Ferrari Driver Academy, where he has overseen the development of elite young talent, including Charles Leclerc and most recently Oliver Bearman.
