Grace Blakeley is a brilliant young economist who is the New Statesman's economic commentator. She has also authored many reports for the Institute for Public Policy Research, and was a Research Fellow on IPPR's Commission on Economic Justice.

She has appeared on Politics Live, BBC Breakfast, BBC This Week, BBC News, Sky News, BBC Radio 4, LBC and many other outlets discussing both current political events and specific economic developments. She is also a prominent public speaker, and has spoken at many conferences, panels and roundtables on issues related to economics. She graduated from Oxford with a First Class Honours Degree in Politics, Philosophy, and Economics, after which point she joined KPMG's Public Sector and Healthcare Practice as a management consultant. She spent a year working on regional economic policy for IPPR North in Manchester.
